For everyone who did not get a good (read : as expected) rating in their annual appraisals :

The annual appraisal system somehow tends to bring in the worst of a lot of appraisers, however it also is a good time for everyone who is being appraised to hear out what could have been done better… I say a lot of the 90 minute gyan is something that we know (and I can say this with confidence having being an appraisee and an appraiser myself), however a good critical evaluation of an year’s performance can make a world of difference.
